Basic Mandate for Old Gold exchange or jewellery exchange, every customer would be requested to do the following:

A declaration form has to be signed by you stating the details of the gold exchange. By signing this form, you give your willing acknowledgment for the gold cutting/ melting. It also mentions that the gold given by you will not be returned and the purity reading given by the Karat meter will be acceptable.

For Old Gold exchange

  • Any old gold you wish to exchange must be in plain gold format without any gem stones, pearls or diamonds.

  • We accept plain gold jewellery in the form of gold coins, biscuits or bars.

  • We do not exchange your old gold for cash or gold coins.

For Jewellery exchange

  • Under our Gold Exchange Jewellery Programme, you will not be entitled for a 15 days Money-Back guarantee. A Lifetime Exchange policy will be applicable.

  • The jewellery item you wish to exchange can be any item from PURE TRACES designs only (plain gold jewellery, diamond and gemstone jewellery, platinum jewellery or even solitaires).

  • Once your exchange value is computed, you can buy any jewellery of similar or higher or lesser value by paying the excess with any paying method. In case the difference amount comes less than the amount computed, the difference will be added as redeemed points which would be applicable on any future jewellery purchase.

  • The gold jewellery you wish to exchange must be in the following purity: 14Kt, 18Kt or 22Kt. A certain % deduction is only applicable on jewellery that is 18Kt or above only.

  • For any PURE TRACES jewellery item being exchanged, item invoice and certificate is necessary. In case of loss of certificate or invoice, penalty will be applicable.

For any PURE TRACES items exchange under this policy

  • For any PURE TRACES item be gold coins or jewellery etc being exchanged, item invoice and certificate is necessary.

  • Every PURE TRACES jewellery piece will have Hallmarks. These Hallmark consists of 3 symbols which give you some information:

    1. 1 First symbol is BIS logo

    2. 2 Second symbol indicates purity and fineness

    3. 3 And the third symbol is the HUID- Hallmark Unique Identification HUID) number is a six-digit Alphanumeric code consisting of numbers and letters. HUID will be given to every piece of jewellery at the time of hallmarking and it is unique for every piece of jewellery.
